Young Ambassadors Council Information

OVERVIEW

The Young Ambassadors Council is an organization comprised of young professionals in the Saint Louis community, created to support the Board and promote the overall mission of First Tee — Greater Saint Louis (“FTSTL”). We support the program through fundraising, community volunteer efforts, and broadening awareness throughout the community.

 PURPOSE

  • Help Kids in our Community!
  • Build awareness of FTSTL's mission
  • Secure philanthropic support
  • Provide volunteer support
  • Develop and manage annual fundraising events
  • Recruit fellow young professionals

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a young professional (<40 years of age) living in the Greater St. Louis area
  • Completion of membership application and background check
  • Serve as an ambassador for FTSTL's mission and programs
  • Volunteer for a minimum of 8 program or administrative hours per year
  • Attend Young Ambassadors socials (informal meetings to address FTSTL needs)
  • Commit to an individual annual fundraising goal $500 minimally - may be secured through:
    • Individual/Business donations
    • Personal ticket purchases to FTSTL events
    • Personal/Received FTSTL event sponsorships
    • Matching gift donations
    • Silent/Live auction item procurement
    • Extra volunteer hours
